Stay hungry, stay foolish

Once, I told my fellows a story about Michael Dell, who didn't make his college degree, but still could create a great heritage of America, Dell PC. It just provoked in me a thought that some of our greatest businessmen often dropped out early in their life to start up their dream from scratch (besides Michael Dell are Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, or earlier the father of invention Thomas Edison). It almost deceptive to feel like quitting college early is the way that lead you to success, since schools sometimes just make you suffocated, but there is part of the truth in the statement.
I don't reject the ideas of having a good education, but I doubt that today school education will be enough to make something bigger than you think you can do. Some well-educated college grads succeed after various trials and errors mainly thanks to their determination, patience, and hard working rather than school knowledge. But truth be told, I can assure that self-learning by exposing yourself to challenges, with a daring spirit, an inquisitive why mind and a can-do attitude, you can learn a lot more than anything else that you ever learn from school. Like what you learn from Steve Jobs speech. You learn to pursue what you love, "you got to do what you love" not the other way around. Ask like he often asks himself, "if today is my last day, what I wanna do most today?" That way, you may live your life to its fullest. Hmm, sometimes I look back, I feel like I am very close to success since I almost lost my life once. I am always almost starving to death, and hey, foolish I am 'cause I am never proud of being smart. All said, just wonder if I need to go further and drop out school to be successful; May be that's the only ingredient of SUCCESS that I miss... Finally, stay hungry ; stay foolish. It necessary to look back sometimes and proud that you are still hungry for something new. It's prouder to be foolish than smart, so take them as your competitive advantage.
